Midwest Sound has been around over 40 years and DJ entertainment is our main focus. We perform at 1,000 receptions every year and have never missed an event in our entire history!
Our training and mentorship program makes our DJs extraordinary. They set the tone for your event and help create a positive atmosphere. Our DJs behave as MCs and coordinators, engaging with venue managers and fellow vendors to ensure everything runs smoothly. They also have extensive familiarity with venues throughout Wisconsin and will always follow their rules, so you never have to worry.
We handpick one of our trustworthy DJs based on what we learn from working with you throughout the planning process and the criteria you fill out via our online event planner, known as our Client Portal: DJ interaction level, grand march, social/dinner background music, cake cutting, speeches, games, desired announcements, spotlight dances, group dances, must plays and do not plays for your dance, etc.
The day of your wedding, our DJs arrive at least 90 minutes before your contracted start time to set up our full professional sound and dance floor light systems. We also have technicians, supervisors, backup equipment and on-call DJs available for any potential emergency. This additional security is a great safety net to ease any nerves on your big day.
We pride ourselves on making sure you get to relax and have fun during your wedding. Our experience, reliability and customization is the great advantage of using a professional company as opposed to solo operations or playlists on a device.
